We had another super week last week! The children completed some research on bears and wrote about either a brown bear, polar bear, or panda bear. They love discovering facts and are quite good at comparing and contrasting!!
Dibble benchmark testing will take place this week! We sent home practice sheets for these tests. If you are not sure what to do, please ask your child to show you (or call me)! They are quite amazing at the games we play to practice our letter naming, first sound fluency, phoneme segmentation and reading nonsense words. They will WOW you.
We are learning about the states of matter and had fun exploring and making snow! We brainstormed adjectives to describe snow....it was fun! We will continue learning about the states of matter with our weather and seasons unit.
We are still looking for mystery readers....please let us know if you are interested! Thanks!
